fuckyeahtattoos: The very first day that my boyfriend and I began dating, he gave me a large gold key on a chain to wear around my neck. This key was a great symbol to our relationship, because for the first 11 months it was a long distance one from Texas to Colorado. When I was sad or felt alone, the key was always around my neck like a little piece of him was with me. After almost a year together, we decided to make that key a permanent part of both of us by getting it tattooed on our ankles. There are several people with keys tattooed on them, but ours are unique because they’re exact drawings of the jewelry I wore. It’s been almost two years now, and I couldn’t be happier. Even though we were apart for the long length of time, we were always together through that symbol. this tattoo is a mistake.
